Etimoe
Character / Color
The sapwood and the heartwood are sharply separated in the wood specie Etiomé. While the sapwood is yellowish brown, the heartwood has a reddish brown, fairly even colouring. Resinous deposits in the canals turn black after drying and make the wood of Etiomé appear veined.
Wood species / trade name: Etimoe / African Etimoe
